Hi, I’m Tobybeth.
Long before coaching became my profession, I was the person people talked to when they didn’t know what to do. Friends, coworkers, family, even people I barely knew seemed to find their way into conversations with me about the things they were wrestling with — decisions, relationships, work, uncertainty, and what came next.
For years, I thought being helpful meant having good advice or knowing what to say. Coaching taught me something different.
Sometimes the most useful thing I can do isn’t give you an answer. It’s create the kind of conversation where you can hear yourself clearly enough to recognize what’s true, see possibilities you couldn’t see before, and decide what comes next.
That’s the work I do today.

A little more about me...
I’m a wife, mom, grandmother, sister, daughter, friend, coach, and lifelong work in progress.
I’ve lived enough life to know that very little of it travels in a straight line. I’ve changed careers, started over, questioned myself, carried other people’s expectations, discovered some of my own, and learned that clarity doesn’t always arrive before we move. Sometimes it comes because we finally do.
I believe deeply in people — not in some polished, motivational-poster version of who they could become, but in the complicated human being standing right in front of me. I believe we can tell the truth about where we are without being defined by it. I believe perspective can change what we see, and what we see can change what we choose.
I also believe there should be room for laughter in the middle of all of it. Life is serious enough. We don’t have to be serious every minute while we’re living it.
I don’t have all the answers. I don’t need to.
My job is to help you hear yours.
